Create an excellent page title for SEO

The title page on your website aims to have visitors click on your page, visit your website, read your post, and buy your product. If your title is not interesting, people will ignore it and move on to other results. Essentially, there are two goals that you want to achieve with a title for your web page:

  1. To improve the site ranking by using the correct keywords;
  2. Visitors will click on your web page and read it.

Google analyzes what is listed on your page title as a ranking factor. The page title should reflect the discussed topic and use keywords focused on the content.  Google uses various signals when deciding the relevance of the keywords on your web page. If the title catches people’s attention and they click on it, Google will notice and improve your ranking.

Width vs. Length

Our company uses the Yoast SEO plugin to verify keywords for web pages to improve SEO rankings. We also improve the page title by providing an optimal width. This recommendation may improve your Google ranking. If the title doesn’t have the correct width, words may be cut off in Google’s search results The results vary depending on the device you’re using. Be sure to check the length of the SEO title on a mobile device, tablet, and desktop computer.

Here is an example of a page title on a mobile device and on a desktop:

Google has a fixed width for the titles counted in pixels; rather than using a character count. While your title tags can belong, and there is no limit, Google limits the visibility in the search results. If your title is too wide, Google will cut it off visually.
